Isola This the villa that Berretty and the architect Wollf Schoemaker constructed in 1933. Berretty lived there only a few months before he died in the planecrash of the Uiver. The building still stands. First it was a hotel and later turned into a pedagogical institute. Click on the pictures to get a larger picture. Not only the house was big, the space around it was enormous. Berretty spent all his money on this project.
